More Baby

Oh yah, I forgot to mention that she is already over 10 lbs. Today she weighed 10 lbs. 7 oz. with diaper and onsie on.

Baby pics

Here are some random pics of baby Heidi. I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped while I was in the hospital and when I came home from the hospital and to all those that offered their help. I especially want to thank My mom, mother-in-law and Danny for all that they did and do.

New kitchen

Here are the pics of my new kitchen. Danny had the cabinets redone and walls painted when I went to the hospital to have the baby and I had no idea he was doing anything. He also tradedout our black fridge for this one and had the railing along the stairs sanded and painted white. It all looks very nice and was a big surprise to me. Then my walls that were still white upstairs and in the entryway he had painted and I think he and his mom rearranged my bedroom which looks better now too, thanks.

She has finally arrived!

Okay, here are the details. Heidi Renae Brinkerhoff. 8 lbs. 6.3 oz. and 21" long. She arrived at 2:11am Tuesday, March 31st, 2009. Heidi was born at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. I knew she was going to be big, but I did not expect her to be that big, but we think she is sure cute. Thanks to all who helped me get through that last part of the pregnancy. And thanks to my husband and those who helped him with the surprise he had for me when I got home from the hospital, some home renovations, will post pics later.

This is just a little while before I went to the hospital to have the baby. I don't like to have pictures taken of me especially when I am pregnant, but we thought that as big as this baby might be and for those family members who do not live here we should probably document it. Yes I was very uncomfortable.

Pinewood Derby

Thursday March 26, 2009 was the Pinewood Derby
race in our ward for Cub Scouts. Guess who won?
Yep, Danson (and Dad of course). This was
Danson's second year to participate in the Pinewood
Derby. He was a little more excited to do it last year.
In fact he wasn't even going to do it this year and
then less than two days before the race he decided
he wanted to when some friends of ours, the Brown's,
came over to work on theirs. Now the race was
Thursday evening, but the final weigh in was Wednesday
evening and you had to leave your car with them that
night, Wednesday, so you couldn't make any changes
to it before the race (illegal changes that is). So I wasn't
there, but apparently they made a pretty fast car in
less than two days. Way to go guys, congratulations.
Next year both Danson and Tyler will be racing in it.

First Place! Good Job.

Oh yeah and little brother Joey was there to
cheer on his big brother. (Tyler was in trouble so
he didn't get to go, bummer! And Alyssa was home sick, so mom stayed home with those two.)

Well, I have not had the baby yet but for those of you who have not heard I will be going in on Monday afternoon, Mar. 30th, to be induced unless by some chance I have the baby before that. So sometime after that I will post news about the new baby. I cannot wait to have this baby, I am so tired of being pregnant. Granted I do not have any medical/health issues with my pregnancies, but this has been by far the worst and most uncomfortable pregnancy, that I can remember. I guess after having 2 or 3 it really starts to take it's toll on your body. For those of you who have had more than that, I don't know how you did it, I definitely have a greater respect than I did before, not that I don't for anyone who has had any less children because pregnancy in general is not an easy thing for most people and everyone is different. So, kudos to all you mothers out there.

Sorry there is not much on here right now. Hopefully I will get better at it. I am still trying to figure the whole thing out. More posts to come soon, hopefully. However it may be after this baby comes, that is the only thing I want right now. At least I know it will be sometime in the next week and a half, tomorrow would be good. Maybe I will try to put up the pictures of the beds that Danny made for the boys, their pretty neat if you haven't seen them yet.
